I-95 South closed in New Haven after crash

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WFSB) - I-95 southbound is closed between Exits 43 and 42 in New Haven because of a crash involving a vehicle and a motorcycle, according to the Connecticut Department of Transportation.

Connecticut State Police said the collision was reported at Exit 43 at 5:01 p.m. Thursday and serious injuries have been reported.

Lanes are closed and traffic is impacted, according to state police, who are asking drivers to avoid the area. State police said the scene is active and nothing more was available for release.
