ENFIELD, Conn. (WFSB) - Anthony Federline, the stepfather of Eve Rogers, is expected in court Wednesday on charges that he sexually assaulted her.

12-year-old Eve Rogers was found dead in her Enfield home earlier this year.

Federline has pleaded not guilty. He has not been charged in her death.

Rogers’ mother, Melanie Federline, was arrested last week. Prosecutors say she failed to secure pills that Rogers overdosed on.

The group Justice for Eve and Rogers’ biological father said they plan to be at the court appearance.

Eyewitness News will provide more details as soon as they become available.
