Stonington police respond to gathering that included man wearing KKK robe

MYSTIC, CT (WFSB) - Stonington police responded to a gathering that included a man wearing a KKK robe in Mystic Saturday afternoon.

Deputy Chief Todd Olson said that at around 3:00 P.M., units responded to the area of the Olde Mistick Village after they received calls about a gathering involving a man wearing a KKK robe.

They monitored the situation, which included signs supporting former President Donald Trump and signs that had vulgar language.

The gathering cleared out at around 4:00 P.M. No arrests were made.
