Crash closes lanes on I-91 in Cromwell

CROMWELL, Conn. (WFSB) - A crash that involved a tractor trailer and another vehicle closed two lanes on Interstate 91 in Cromwell Thursday afternoon.

According to the state Department of Transportation, the crash closed the left and center lanes between exits 22 and 23 on the northbound side of the highway.

The crash was first reported around 11:40 a.m., and was cleared about two hours later.

State police said no one was hurt, and there was no word on the cause of the crash.

Later Thursday afternoon, the left lane was once again closed for emergency road work in that area to address the damage from the crash.
