Fairfield police investigating in area of Redding, Verna Hill roads

FAIRFIELD, Conn. (WFSB) - The Fairfield Police Department is conducting an investigation in the area of Redding Road and Verna Hill Road, according to the department.

Police said they are sharing the information so residents who notice the police presence are aware there is no threat to the public at this time.

The department asked for the community’s patience as officers and investigators continue their work. Police said additional information will be provided when feasible.
