Three-vehicle crash closes part of I-95 in Fairfield

FAIRFIELD, Conn. (WFSB) - Interstate 95 south is closed in Fairfield because of a three-vehicle crash, transportation officials said.

The state Department of Transportation said the highway was closed between exits 23 and 20.

The exits 21, 22, and 23 onramps to I-95 south are also closed.

State police said serious injuries were reported.

There’s no word on a cause.
