Police search for woman involved in theft of 261 items from Enfield store

ENFIELD, CT (WFSB) - Police are searching for a woman involved in a theft at Burlington Coat Factory.

Troops were dispatched to Burlington for a theft at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.

They said one of the suspects was arrested, but he resisted.

As a result of his arrest, one officer was minorly injured, police said.

The suspect was identified as Alexander Puello, 26, from NYC.

Overall, police reported the suspects had 261 stolen items.

They said there were five shopping carts of shoes, one shopping cart of purses/bags, and five luggage bags.

According to Chief Fox, a woman was also involved in the theft and fled the scene.
