Bristol Mum Festival canceled due to inclement weather

HARTFORD, Conn. (WFSB) - This year’s Bristol Mum Festival has been canceled, according to a press release from the Bristol Mum Festival Committee.

The committee says that all festival events, including the Mum Festival Parade, “...will not go forward out of an abundance of caution for the public’s safety in anticipation of severe weather.”

This is the first time in the festival’s history that the entire event has been canceled.

Organizers are reviewing ways to bring elements and traditions of the festival to other events over the next few months.
